You can’t ring in the new year without first toasting the old one, right? And what better way to honor 2018 than with a delicious dinner and some dancing. The good news is that LA is full of good eateries and nightlife establishments. The bad news?

Maybe there are a few too many. It can be hard to know where to celebrate in Los Angles on New Year’s Eve.

Fortunately, we can help with that. We have had the tasty task of finding the best New Year’s Eve parties in LA, and recording what we found. Read on!
Queen Mary’s New Year’s Eve Party

The Queen Mary’s New Year’s Eve party is a Los Angeles staple, and has been for some time. The event combines fine eating with the more raucous celebrating that is often associated with the day.

It is something of a “best of both world’s” scenario, for the person that wants to eat good food, then celebrate in style with music, drinks, and dancing.

This is a 21+ event, so if you are traveling with underage people, you are going to need to find something else to do. Or you know…leave them at the door.

However, for groups of adults, the Queen Mary’s celebration is an exciting opportunity to have great food, and lots of fun this holiday season.

It is a truly classic New Year’s Eve Los Angeles party.
The Great Gatsby’s 2018 Celebration

Unfortunately, the literary flourish of this event only really extends to the title. However, just like the tragically famous Gatsby, the organizers of this event sure do know how to celebrate New Years Eve in Los Angeles.

The party actually does have a 1920s theme that keeps with the tone of the novel for which it is named. The atmosphere is engineered to be prohibition era esque, and the music also skews in that direction as well.

If you are looking for an opportunity to cosplay (so to speak) this New Years Eve season, this event is going to be a really excellent way to do it. Gatsby and Daisy might not be there, but lots of fun loving people looking for good food and dancing will be.
No Cover New Year’s Party

The “No Cover” party this year is featured at the Angel City brewery, a local Los Angeles brewery that is known for their delicious craft beers.

The party is held from 8PM- 2AM so you do have a little bit of time to party hop before it starts if you are interested in doing that.

They do have appetizers, but the food is fairly limited, so you may want to come up with an additional dinner plan for yourself if you decide to go there on New Years Eve.
